Current Magazine Stacks

Recently I received an anonymous suggestion that we keep a close eye on the shelves where our current issues of journals and magazines are held. One title in particular, The Economist, was specifically mentioned as being out of order. This is a constant issue in our library and all other libraries. If something is shelved incorrectly or in the wrong place it does no one any good. Weekly magazines like The Economist, are some of our most popular items and also, since there are so many of them, the most difficult to keep in order. Of course this time of the semester is probably when the problem is at its worst. We are trying to keep up by putting the magazines in order on a daily basis. Some magazines need to be maintained even more often than that. So if you find a magazine that is out of order let the staff on the second floor know. If you are having a particularly difficult time finding something you need, please ask. Everyone working in the Library is dedicated to helping you get to the information you need.

Let us know when we need to fix something or how we can improve what we are doing. Thanks for letting us know when there is a problem. We will do our best to fix it.

John
